PRACTICE INFORMATION

Practice History

Kenmure Medical Practice has been providing a comprehensive range of General Medical Services to the local community of Bishopbriggs for over 40 years. The surgery was built in 1994 and covers the G64 catchment area i.e Bishopbriggs & Torrance.

The Practice comprises of five GP Partners, one salaried GP, one Practice Nurses and a Health Care Assistant. All are available for consultation on the premises by appointment. The core medical and nursing staff are supported by a Health Visitor, District Nursing team, Advanced Practice Physiotherapist, Pharmacy staff and Treatment Room nursing staff.

Practice administration is provided by a team of reception, clerical, typing and data input staff, all of whom are supervised by the Practice Manager.

Comments and Complaints

Suggestions, comments or complaints should be addressed in the first instance to the Practice Manager, Pamela Doran, who will ensure that your complaint is acknowledged within 48 hours and an appropriate response issued within 10 days.

In order to provide care for you, we keep records. This is increasingly done using computers. When this information contains personal and confidential data it is called Personal Health Information. We sometimes share information with other organisations involved in your health care. We only share relevant information.

We fully comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR which gives you the right to access personal information about yourself. For further information please contact the Practice Manager.

non NHS services / private medical services

Medical examinations for special purposes, eg. HGV/PSV medicals, pre-employment, vaccinations, insurance medicals, etc. can be arranged by appointment. Some services fall outside the NHS and for these a charge is applicable. This can include private medical certificates, short letters and various special medical examinations.
